The Botswana Elephant Centre, currently under development at Chobe Safari Lodge in Kasane, will be a one-of-a-kind space dedicated to celebrating and understanding Africa’s elephants. Designed to be fun, educational, and inclusive, the centre will offer visitors of all ages a chance to dive deep into the world of elephants—from their biology and behaviour to the challenges they face and the conservation efforts underway to protect them.
Through interactive exhibits, immersive storytelling, and hands-on learning experiences, the Centre will bring elephant conservation to life, making science accessible and engaging for everyone—from schoolchildren to tourists and local residents.
More than just a learning space, the Botswana Elephant Centre aims to be a hub for awareness, dialogue, and coexistence, inspiring a deeper appreciation and connection to one of Africa’s most iconic species.
